Ice-cream is one of the best things to have on a hot summers day, or lying on the couch watching a movie. Pretty much any occasion, really. Don’t worry about the lack of muscle-building protein, because protein ice-cream is one of the easiest protein dessert treats you can whip up, and all it takes is a couple of minutes and four ingredients.
To make your delectable, muscle-fuelling protein ice cream you will need a banana, cottage cheese, vanilla Whey Isocon, and some freeze-dried berries. You don’t need to use berries if you aren’t a berry fan, just substitute with different freeze-dried fruit pieces.
- 1 cup cottage cheese
- 1 big frozen banana
- Half a cup of vanilla Whey Isocon
- 2 tablespoons of whatever frozen fruit you prefer
- Blend it all together
- Throw the mixture in a big Tupperware dish
- Freeze it for 30-50 mins
- After freezing, churn it up
- Freeze again for another 30-50 minutes
- Churn it up once again
- Scoop it out
- Enjoy your homemade protein ice-cream
Don’t look on in jealousy the next time someone tucks into some fluffy ice-cream because now you know how to make some of your own. Yours will even help put on some muscle, and might just taste even better than theirs. Go ahead, give it a try. You can thank us later.
